Orly Tropical Pop

I have not been impressed by mainstream brands at all lately. I haven't bought a single polish from a summer collection from OPI, China Glaze, or Zoya. Orly is a brand I used to really love. I feel like in the past 2-3 years, they really have been going under the radar. When I saw their summer collection though, a love was reignited. Orly's Baked collection is a home run, and totally kicks any other mainstream brand's summer collection out of the park. I have Tropical Pop to share with you today.

Tropical Pop
Tropical Pop is neon tangerine creme.

Color: Whoa! No playing around here. This is a beautiful bright yellow-orange creme. I don't typically wear oranges and yellows, but if I do they're going to be obnoxiously in your face ones. This is an awesome color. This kind of reminds me of like neon mac n' cheese. Lol.

Formula: This wasn't the greatest formula to me. It was manageable, but I found this to be a bit thick, goopy, and hard to control. I also found it had some self-leveling issues. I did 3 coats here. It's not a terrible formula, but one that required some extra attention.

Price: I paid in the $7-$8 range for this at Sally's Beauty Supply.

Overall: I just love this color. Tropical Pop is so out of my normal realm of what I'd wear, and I think that's what makes me love it more. As much I love this polish and want to give it 5 paint splatters, the formula really holds this one back. It's not a deal breaker though, and if you like this color, I think it's worth a little effort.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Happy Monday!
